Essex won the match by 5 wickets.
I hope everyone enjoyed our coverage.
P/L of match :
Not prepared it in detail but it is positive without any doubt.
Waiting for comments :) .
Please check back tomorrow for schedule of upcoming matches.
Good bye and good night.
.............
9th Update :
Essex 140/4 in 36th over.
Odds 1.24
Massive odds movement after 4th wicket and frankly i don't know why.
It's going to be tight finish imo because runrate may come in picture sooner or later.
Plan is :
1.Lay Essex 200@1.16 if comes with stop loss 6 ticks.
Green up above 30 ticks if stop loss not hit.
Or
Back all at 1.2+ after 5 overs from trade.
Gl
...............
8th Update :
Essex 88/3
Green up now.
Gl
..............
7th Update :
Essex 67/2 in 16th over.
Essex 2 down now.
Odds 1.24
Plan is :
1.Lay Essex 200@1.15 if comes with stop loss
5 ticks.
Back plan 150@1.3
2.Lay Essex 500@1.04 if comes after 3 wickets and 80+ runs remaining as freelay.
Back plan
300@1.10
100@1.2
50@1.3
Stop loss :
Back all after 5 overs at available odds which i hope is not going to be less then 1.03.
Gl
..............
6th Update :
Essex 39/1 in 9th over.
Wait and watch time till 20 overs.
Gl
.............
Innings Break :
Kent 214 allout in 50 overs.
Odds Essex 1.33
Plan for 2nd innings :
Frankly i want to wait for Essex 1.1x to lay or 1.9x to back.
Essex rightly favourites but
tough batting conditions and chase in lights means it is dangerous to back Essex at these odds.
So plan is :
1.Back Essex 50@1.9 if comes in 1st 15 overs upto 3 wickets but score 40+
Stop loss 40 ticks and let it run if stop loss not hit.
2.Lay Essex 200@1.12 if comes after flying start in 1st 5 overs.
Back all just after any wicket.
Stop loss :
Well odds may shorten upto 1.0x if no wicket so consider let it run for 4-5 overs and then back all at +- 4 ticks.
3.Lay Essex 200@1.2 if comes in 1st 10 overs after 2 wickets and runrate below 6
Stop loss 5 ticks and take profit whenever you get chance.
So far these plans and I'll update after 10 overs and post other plan according to match situation.
All the best.
...............
5th Update :
Kent 177/7
Lay Essex 200@1.25 or below if comes in remaining few overs of 1st innings.
Gl
................
4th Update :
Kent 99/5 in 29th over.
Now plan is for remaining overs of 1st innings:
1.Back Essex 100@1.6 with 30 ticks stop loss.If stop loss not hit then let it run and green up @1.2x
2.Lay Essex 150@1.12 whenever comes with back plan 130@1.3
I hope good trading opportunities and freelays in 2nd innings if target below 210.
Gl
.................
3rd Update :
Kent 43/2 in 14th over.
Plan is (Upto 35 overs):
1.Back Essex 100@1.8 with 40 ticks stop loss means if Kent hit 1.8 then back Kent 100@1.8 and take loss 20 on any result.
If stop loss not hit then let it run and green up @1.3x
2.Lay Essex 150@1.25 with 8 ticks stop loss if comes upto 4 wickets but score 100+
Back plan 100@1.45
Gl
.................
2nd Update
Kent 19/2
Wait and watch time till 15 overs.
Gl
.................
1st Update :
Welcome back.
Kent batting first :
1st Predicted target odds :
(A) Kent bat first :
(Day/Night Match)
330 1.1x
310 1.2x
290 1.4x
270 1.6x
250 2.1x
230 3.2x
210 4.2x
190 4.5x
170 6
*All are Kent odds.
So you can see 1.2x is absolute freelay if very good start or flying start provided Kent score not more than 310.
Predicted target odds is going to be very useful in first innings like if you see Kent can score 270 maximum and odds are going to be 1.6x for that then you can consider lay Kent 1.6x in middle overs as freelay.
Still set a stop loss is advised because any team can score 50 runs in last 3 overs and that can change odds dramatically.
Roughly plan is to lay Kent 1.4x in first 10 overs or back 2.5+
I will update again after 5 overs play and then post definative plan for 1st 15 overs.
Good luck.

Hi,
Really enjoyed trading today.
I'm very much impressed by your predicted target odds.
How you calculate odds for different scores ?
Thanks.
